The clinical pharmacist provides patient-centered pharmaceutical care by reviewing patient profiles, monitoring drug therapy, and intervening to resolve drug-related problems. They also participate in quality and safety initiatives, oversee pharmacy students and technicians, and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. Candidates must have at least one year of relevant experience, though this may be waived for former Emory student interns. A Georgia pharmacy license is required, along with BLS certification and the ability to obtain ACLS certification within six months.
