Job Summary
The Clinical Supervisor plays a pivotal role in leading a team of counselors and case managers, ensuring high-quality patient care through direct involvement in psychotherapy and crisis intervention. This position also entails managing various administrative functions to support the clinical operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support counselors and case managers in their clinical duties.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapy and intervention during crises.
- Conduct performance evaluations for staff members to assess and improve their performance.
- Facilitate training programs to enhance the skills of clinical staff.
- Participate in meetings of clinical committees to contribute to organizational policies and best practices.
Qualifications
- A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant social science discipline is required.
- Possession of a valid California license as an LCSW, MFT, or LPCC is mandatory.
- A minimum of one year of experience in the field of substance abuse treatment or dual diagnosis is essential.
- Prior supervisory experience is necessary to ensure effective team leadership.
