Job description
Job Summary
The Clinical Trial Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of clinical trials. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and adherence to study protocols while coordinating activities with various stakeholders to achieve study goals efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and implementation of study protocols, informed consent forms, and related documents.
- Coordinate and oversee trial activities including site selection, patient recruitment, and data collection.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
- Assess and mitigate risks throughout the trial process while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain comprehensive trial documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in managing clinical trials within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
- Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and other regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to facilitate collaboration.
