Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position is essential for delivering high-quality patient support in a healthcare setting. This role involves working on both day and night shifts to accommodate the needs of patients and ensure optimal care is provided at all times. The CNA will play a crucial role in assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals in various tasks while fostering a compassionate environment for patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist nurses with patient care and daily living activities.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes.
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, grooming, and feeding.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Support patients with mobility and physical exercises.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
