Job Summary
The CNC Machinist plays a crucial role in conducting machine setups, operating advanced multi-axis CNC machinery, and carrying out quality assessments to guarantee that components conform to established specifications. This position necessitates effective troubleshooting of machining problems, an adept interpretation of engineering drawings, and diligent maintenance of production records.
Responsibilities
- Perform machine setups for various CNC equipment.
- Operate multi-axis CNC machines efficiently.
- Conduct quality audits to ensure parts meet required specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise.
- Interpret engineering drawings accurately to facilitate production.
- Maintain precise production documentation throughout the machining process.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC machining or possession of a recent machining program degree.
- Demonstrated proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools and equipment.
