Communicate documentation improvement opportunities to staff and ensure all data is abstracted for hospital reporting requirements. Candidates must possess AHIMA or AAPC professional certifications and have at least 2 years of hospital or consulting coding experience. Proficiency in outpatient coding specialties and experience with computerized encoding software are required.
