Job description
The Commercial Lines Underwriter will oversee a designated agency territory to drive growth and profitability by evaluating risks and securing new business. This role involves fostering solid relationships with agencies and providing mentorship to team members to enhance overall performance. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in insurance or finance, along with two to five years of experience in commercial lines underwriting. Essential skills include strong analytical abilities, negotiation expertise, and effective time management, in addition to comprehensive knowledge of rating principles.
