Job Summary
This position involves providing essential non-medical support to elderly individuals in their homes. The primary focus is on enhancing the quality of life for seniors through various daily assistance tasks while adhering to personalized care plans.
Responsibilities
- Offer medication reminders and assist with mobility and personal care.
- Encourage and support exercise routines as needed.
- Assist clients with shopping and the preparation of meals.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean living environment.
- Adhere to each client’s care plan and report any unusual occurrences to the Care Coordinator.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and ensure client safety at all times.
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience in caregiving.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Dependability, physical capability to perform required tasks, respect, and compassion for clients.
- Knowledge of housekeeping, meal preparation, and dietary restrictions.
