Job Summary
The CT Technologist plays a crucial role in providing high-quality computed tomography imaging services. This position focuses on ensuring correct patient identification and meticulous documentation while supporting the effective functioning of departmental activities. The technologist will also be involved in various performance improvement projects within the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality CT scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Accurately identify patients and maintain detailed documentation of procedures.
- Oversee efficient operations within the department to enhance workflow.
- Engage in hospital initiatives aimed at improving performance and patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited program in radiography.
- Current certification from the ARRT.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- CT certification must be obtained within a year of employment.
