Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time onsite Construction Manager – Mechanical Engineer based in Gainesville, Florida. This position focuses on delivering Owner’s Representation services in the realm of mechanical engineering for construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical construction activities, ensuring that project specifications and timelines are met.
- Manage and coordinate the installation of duct banks, HVAC systems, emergency power systems, and fire protection systems.
- Act as a liaison between the project owner and the construction teams to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, addressing any issues that may arise during construction.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the construction phases.
Qualifications
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in construction management or a related field.
- Experience in mechanical engineering, specifically with systems related to HVAC, emergency power, and fire protection.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mechanical projects from inception to completion.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze project details and make informed decisions to drive project success.
