Job Summary
The role entails leading the outside plant engineering team to ensure exceptional design quality, optimize productivity, and streamline cycle times for both copper and fiber network initiatives. This position requires effective management of permitting processes, addressing design conflicts, and acting as the main technical liaison with customers and field teams.
Responsibilities
- Guide the design team to achieve high standards in quality and efficiency.
- Manage all permitting activities related to outside plant engineering.
- Identify and resolve conflicts in design practices.
- Serve as the key technical contact for customers and field staff.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in outside plant engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the engineering field.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design software.
- Strong understanding of municipal permitting procedures and safety regulations.
