Job description
**Job Title: Dietary Aide/Cook**
The Dietary Aide/Cook plays a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are balanced in nutrition and served at appropriate temperatures in alignment with dietary standards. This position also involves upholding high standards of kitchen cleanliness, performing equipment maintenance, and overseeing food storage practices in accordance with state and federal regulations. Applicants should have a minimum of one year of experience in institutional food service as a cook and demonstrate functional literacy. Preference will be given to those with experience in food production within long-term care settings.
