Job Summary
The primary role of this position is to deliver hands-on nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and established care plans. The nurse will also be vigilant in observing any changes in residents’ health conditions and taking appropriate actions as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents as outlined by physician directives and care plans.
- Monitor residents for any changes in their medical condition and report findings as needed.
- Administer medications in a precise manner.
- Oversee and guide the support staff in their duties.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all provided nursing care.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina.
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is preferred.
