The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will play a vital role in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by therapists and physicians. Responsibilities include executing clinical tasks, keeping precise documentation, and following prescribed policies and procedures. Applicants are required to possess a valid professional license for the state in which they practice and to be graduates of a school accredited by ACOTE. Additionally, candidates should either be eligible to take or have successfully completed the NBCOT examination.
