The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) plays a crucial role in designing and implementing occupational therapy initiatives, all the while ensuring precise documentation of patient records and monitoring individual progress. They are tasked with evaluating both physical and cognitive capabilities to set achievable rehabilitation objectives for residents. Applicants are required to have completed an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and possess an active Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant license. A preferred background includes one to two years of relevant experience, and candidates must successfully pass background checks and drug tests.
