Job Summary
The Counselor is tasked with performing patient evaluations, formulating treatment strategies, and leading both individual and group therapy sessions. This role also emphasizes the importance of precise documentation and collaborative care coordination with other healthcare professionals and patient families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their needs.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patients.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions to support patient recovery.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation regarding patient care and progress.
- Coordinate with other professionals in the healthcare field and engage with families for holistic care delivery.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a high school diploma is required.
- At least one year of supervised counseling experience in substance use disorder treatment.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field may replace the experience requirement.
