Job Summary
The technician will be engaged in the installation, upkeep, testing, and commissioning of vital electrical equipment, focusing on switchgear and power distribution systems. The role involves a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and adherence to safety regulations and contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct installation and commissioning of critical electrical systems.
- Perform maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure operational integrity.
- Test systems and components to verify functionality and compliance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve field issues to ensure efficient operation.
- Ensure all activities conform to relevant safety and contractual standards.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in handling mission-critical electrical systems.
- Current certification at NETA/NICET Level II or higher.
- Ability to interpret and work with electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with NETA, IEEE, and NEMA standards is essential.
