Job Summary
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography scanning procedures while ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. This PRN position focuses on weekend day shifts, providing essential support to the radiology department.
Responsibilities
- Conduct CT scans on patients while adhering to safety protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate CT equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Assist radiologists in diagnosing by delivering high-resolution images.
- Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging processes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography.
- State licensure as required.
- Strong understanding of imaging technology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and staff.
