Job description

Job Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography scanning procedures while ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. This PRN position focuses on weekend day shifts, providing essential support to the radiology department.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct CT scans on patients while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
  • Operate CT equipment and ensure proper functioning.
  • Assist radiologists in diagnosing by delivering high-resolution images.
  • Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging processes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography.
  • State licensure as required.
  • Strong understanding of imaging technology and anatomy.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and staff.
