Shift: Rotating or Nights
Compensation: $68.50/hour CVICU RN Job Description The CVICU RN position requires a highly skilled RN with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a hospital setting, 18 months of which needs to be perm/ non travel experience. The nurse will be expected to float to like units as needed. Experience with Epic within the past year is also recommended. CVICU RN Key Responsibilities:
- Care for critically ill heart and vascular patients
- Commonly post-op open-heart surgery patients (CABG, valve replacements, transplants)
- Manage life-support equipment: ventilators, balloon pumps (IABP), ECMO, CRRT
- Interpret advanced hemodynamics (Swan-Ganz, arterial lines, CVP)
- Titrate high-risk drips (pressors, inotropes, antiarrhythmics)
CVICU RN Requirements:
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license
- 2+ years of recent CVICU RN experience
- 18 months of experience perm CVICU experience
- Holds active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- EPIC experience strongly preferred
