The engineer will deliver design and deck plate assistance for the main propulsion system components throughout the construction and testing stages. Responsibilities include diagnosing problems, conducting work surveillance, and serving as the main liaison for on-site suppliers. Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a similar technical discipline, along with 5 to 14 years of experience following graduation. Preferred candidates will have a Master’s degree and experience with engineering programs related to COLUMBIA or Virginia-class submarines.
