Job Summary
The Data Manager II is responsible for managing daily operations of CDC data systems, with a focus on maintaining data integrity, ensuring system dependability, and adhering to governance protocols. This role involves spearheading data management initiatives, coordinating system improvements, and offering technical assistance to stakeholders, thereby supporting effective program oversight and evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of CDC data systems to ensure high quality and reliability.
- Implement data management strategies and coordinate enhancements to data systems.
- Provide technical support to various stakeholders to optimize program monitoring and evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with governance standards related to data management.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Public Health, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in data management or health informatics.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and understanding of data governance principles.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
