Job Summary
The Data Scientist is tasked with creating and sustaining predictive models related to credit risk and loan performance, utilizing extensive datasets to derive meaningful business insights. The role involves cross-department collaboration to construct dashboards and enhance data pipelines, thereby bolstering strategic financial planning initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain predictive models for assessing credit risk and loan performance.
- Manage and analyze large-scale datasets to extract actionable business insights.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop interactive dashboards that visualize data effectively.
- Optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and support financial planning strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, as well as SQL.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks.
- Willingness to work on-site in Foothill Ranch, CA.
