They also manage dental supplies, perform administrative tasks like billing, and provide patient education on oral hygiene. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, one year of dental assisting experience or training, and a radiation safety course completion. A valid X-ray license, BLS certification, and the ability to communicate in English and Spanish are required.
