Job Summary
The Dentist is responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients. This role involves diagnosing oral diseases, performing necessary dental procedures, and educating patients about preventive dental care. The Dentist collaborates with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnose dental issues.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and root canals.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate patients about dental hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- State dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
