Job Summary
The Deputy Program Manager plays a pivotal role in the management of daily program activities by supervising contract execution, staff oversight, and subcontractor collaboration. The position involves ensuring that the program’s goals are achieved while adhering to budget constraints, timeline specifications, and quality standards, all while fostering robust client relations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the program to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Manage personnel effectively to optimize team performance.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to maintain program integrity and success.
- Ensure that program objectives are achieved within defined cost, schedule, and quality targets.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with customers to enhance program delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science field.
- Minimum of 8 years of pertinent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of program or project management experience, particularly in aerospace or government contracting sectors.
