Job Summary
The position of DevOps Engineer – Data Platforms is based in Irving, Texas. The role aims to play an essential part within the business team, focusing on improving processes and delivering effective outcomes across various on-premises systems as well as cloud platforms. This role requires a blend of technical skills in both development and operations, contributing to the optimization of data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to design and implement robust data solutions.
- Manage deployments and operational processes within both on-prem and cloud environments.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement automation.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with best practices for security and data integrity.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience with cloud services, automation tools, and data management solutions.
- Proficient in programming and scripting languages relevant to data platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
