Job Summary
The DevOps Systems Engineer role, located in Herndon, Virginia, focuses on integrating development and operations practices to enhance software development and deployment processes. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve system performance.
- Implement automation tools and frameworks to enhance the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and resilience.
- Maintain and support the infrastructure, ensuring it meets the operational standards.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree combined with over 9 years of pertinent experience, or a Master’s degree with 7 years of related experience, or a PhD in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated expertise with DevOps principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
- Experience in operating systems and cloud environments.
