Job Summary
The DevOps Systems Engineer plays a vital role in streamlining the development and operational processes within the organization. This position is suited for individuals with substantial experience who can enhance the efficiency and reliability of software deployment and operations. The role is based in Herndon, Virginia, and requires an onsite commitment.
Responsibilities
- Optimize and manage deployment processes to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices in continuous integration and delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software installations and system functionality.
- Enhance system monitoring and logging capabilities to improve operational transparency.
- Work towards automating repetitive tasks to increase team productivity.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree coupled with at least 9 years of relevant experience in a related field OR a Master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Strong background in software development, deployment, and system administration.
- Proficient in using DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
