Job Summary
The position of DevOps Systems Engineer is aimed at professionals with mid-senior level experience, specifically seeking individuals with a minimum of ten years in the field. This role is located in Herndon, Virginia, and required to be performed onsite. Candidates should have a strong background in DevOps methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement in engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and maintainable infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline software delivery processes.
- Automate manual processes and improve system efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of system design and operations.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field, combined with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and tools.
- Proficient in scripting and automation technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration.
