Job Summary
The position of DevOps Systems Engineer is located in Herndon, Virginia, and requires a strong background in systems engineering and DevOps principles. This role necessitates United States citizenship due to the sensitive nature of the work, along with an active TS/SCI CI security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage DevOps practices to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline development and operations processes.
- Ensure security compliance and manage risks within the DevOps framework.
- Utilize automation tools to improve the efficiency of systems deployment and monitoring.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 9 years of experience in systems engineering, or
- A Master’s degree along with at least 7 years of related experience.
- Proven experience with DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
