Job Summary
The DevOps Systems Engineer position in Herndon, Virginia, focuses on enhancing the development and operational practices within an organization. This role requires a professional capable of integrating and deploying applications as well as supporting cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software development teams to streamline the deployment process.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ensure security practices are integrated into system design and operation.
- Automate infrastructure management processes to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree along with at least 9 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Extensive knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
