Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable Diesel / Heavy Duty Truck Technician to join our team. This role involves performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of diesel-powered vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks.
- Perform regular maintenance, including oil changes, brake checks, and engine overhauls.
- Repair and replace defective parts and systems, ensuring vehicles meet safety standards.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to analyze and resolve vehicle issues.
- Maintain accurate service records and work documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics is preferred.
- Proven experience working as a Diesel or Heavy Duty Truck Technician.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
