Job Summary
The Dietary Aide plays a crucial role in the meal preparation and serving process within a residential setting, ensuring compliance with health standards and kitchen cleanliness. This position is essential in fostering positive interactions with residents, guests, and fellow staff members to deliver outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and food safety within the kitchen environment.
- Engage warmly and positively with residents, staff, and guests to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Assist in the training of new staff on food preparation and service techniques.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Possession of or willingness to obtain a ServSafe or Food Handler certification.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and maintain a standing or walking position for extended durations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with residents and staff.
