Job Summary
The Dietary Aide plays a crucial role in facilitating kitchen operations by providing assistance in meal preparation, serving food, and upholding cleanliness standards in dining areas. This position is essential for ensuring that food services are in accordance with prescribed dietary orders from physicians while maintaining a tidy and organized environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of meals in line with dietary guidelines.
- Serve meals to residents and ensure timely delivery of food services.
- Maintain sanitation standards in dining areas and kitchen environments.
- Ensure that all food service aligns with physician diet orders.
- Keep the dining environment clean and orderly.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Competence in performing simple arithmetic tasks.
- Understanding of basic measurements.
- Previous experience in food service within a nursing home setting is advantageous, although not essential.
