Job Summary
This role focuses on executing clinical nutrition efforts to guarantee the highest level of patient care and nutritional education while adhering to applicable regulatory guidelines. The position also involves collaborating with medical professionals by providing evidence-based nutritional strategies and engaging in initiatives aimed at improving performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Implement clinical nutrition practices to enhance patient care.
- Educate patients regarding optimal dietary choices and nutrition principles.
- Work in accordance with regulatory standards in all nutrition activities.
- Support healthcare staff by applying evidence-based nutritional interventions.
- Participate in performance improvement projects to elevate nutrition services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a related area.
- Must hold the title of Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field.
- Preferred: 2-3 years of experience in acute care clinical nutrition.
