Direct Care Provider Inpatient- Days

Job description

Job Summary

The Direct Care Provider for Inpatient settings is responsible for delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients in a hospital environment. This role involves working closely with a team to ensure the safety and comfort of patients, assisting them with daily activities, and providing emotional support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and eating.
  • Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes to nursing staff.
  • Support patients in therapeutic activities and offer companionship.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver effective patient care.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications preferred.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Physical ability to assist patients and perform relevant tasks.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
