Job Summary
This position is focused on delivering individualized support to people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The aim is to assist clients in their daily living activities and facilitate their active participation in the community. Serving as a dependable companion, the role seeks to enhance the clients’ independence and boost their self-confidence in various settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized one-on-one support to clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Assist clients in completing daily living tasks.
- Encourage and facilitate client engagement within the community.
- Act as a trusted companion to foster independence and confidence in clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Reliable transportation is necessary to meet client needs within the community.
