Job Summary
The Patient-Specific Design Engineer is responsible for creating 3D CAD models tailored for individual patient needs in the medical field. This position requires close collaboration with surgeons to ensure that clinical requirements are effectively met while also engaging in product development and process optimization. The engineer plays a critical role in maintaining top-tier production quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Designing 3D CAD models for custom medical products aimed at patients.
- Working in tandem with surgeons to align product designs with clinical requirements.
- Assisting in the development of new products and streamlining existing processes.
- Ensuring compliance with high-quality production standards throughout the design and manufacturing process.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical design or biomedical engineering.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in the field.
- Strong proficiency in using SOLIDWORKS software.
- Experience in the development of medical devices is highly advantageous.
