The Director of Business Development plays a pivotal role in devising and executing marketing, public relations, and communication strategies aimed at fostering hospital growth. This position acts as a vital connection between community stakeholders, physicians, and referral sources, while overseeing fiscal operations within the department and steering strategic business development initiatives. Applicants should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree along with three to five years of experience in hospital environments, community outreach, or public relations. Essential qualifications include expertise in Microsoft Office, excellent communication abilities, and a valid California driver’s license with proof of insurance.
