Job Summary
The Director of Grants Management is responsible for establishing strategic guidance and overseeing the entire grants management process within the organization, which includes managing around 1,000 grants each year. This leadership role involves directing a team of 20 professionals to ensure compliance with legal and financial regulations while enhancing data systems, such as Salesforce, to facilitate grantmaking aligned with organizational values.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for the organization’s grants management function.
- Oversee the management of approximately 1,000 grants annually.
- Lead and mentor a team of 20 staff members.
- Ensure adherence to legal and fiscal compliance related to grant management.
- Optimize data management systems, including Salesforce, to support effective grantmaking.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in grants management.
- 3-5 years of direct experience in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in Salesforce and other relevant data systems.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in grantmaking.
