Job Summary
The Director of Patient Care Services is responsible for delivering clinical guidance and managing hospice operations to guarantee exceptional patient care and adherence to regulatory standards. This role involves leading and mentoring clinical personnel, addressing patient acuity levels, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate efficient care strategies.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and leadership in hospice operations.
- Ensure high standards of patient care and compliance with regulations.
- Mentor and support clinical staff development.
- Manage patient acuity and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for effective care planning.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least two to four years of supervisory experience in the hospice or home health sector.
- Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking abilities.
- Thorough understanding of state and federal hospice regulations.
