Position Title: Director of Philanthropy and Major Gifts
The Director of Philanthropy and Major Gifts will be responsible for spearheading the Foundation’s fundraising efforts aimed at enhancing revenue by developing and overseeing a strong pipeline of major individual donors and family foundations. This role involves supervising team members, collaborating with the Board, and cultivating a culture of giving that supports the organization’s initiatives in infectious disease research and public health. Ideal candidates should possess over 10 years of advancing fundraising experience, demonstrating a successful history of securing significant gifts and managing influential donor relationships. A bachelor’s degree is mandatory, and familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, is crucial.
