Job Summary
The Dishwasher position at our Residential Treatment Facility is essential for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen and dining areas. This role supports the overall operation of our facility by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and properly stored.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils used in meal preparation.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored after use to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Keep the dishwashing area organized and free from debris to promote efficiency during meal service.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management of any shortages.
- Comply with health and safety regulations to guarantee a safe working and dining environment.
Qualifications
- No prior experience necessary, although willingness to learn and follow instructions is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical capability to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods.
