Dispensing Pharmacist
Orlando, FL
$50-55/HR The Dispensing Pharmacist applies clinical and operational expertise to ensure effective and compliant processing and dispensing of Specialty pharmacy prescription orders to be mailed to patients' homes and/or provider offices. Dispensing Pharmacist Responsibilities:
- Primarily responsible for backend fulfilling of medications and shipping out to patients and/or providers.
- Regularly interact with various departments to ensure timely processing.
- Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
- Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
- Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Dispensing Pharmacist Requirements:
- Must have PharmD or equivalent.
- FL Board of Pharmacy State License.
- Minimum 3yrs. Retail or Mail Order Experience.
- Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group.
- Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving.
- Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient with computers.
