Job Summary
The General Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant by managing all facets of the business. This includes overseeing financial controls, maintaining inventory, and building customer relationships to enhance the dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement cost control measures to manage expenses and maximize profitability.
- Manage inventory to ensure appropriate stock levels and reduce waste.
- Foster positive customer relations to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Schedule shifts and oversee the training of team members to maintain high standards.
- Participate in the hiring process to build a competent and motivated staff.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong leadership capabilities and excellent multitasking abilities are essential.
- Proficient in mathematical skills for budgeting and financial analysis.
- Prior experience of at least one year in restaurant management is preferred but not mandatory.
