Job Summary
The Drafter is responsible for maintaining the quality of legacy drawings and CAD files related to production EW products. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with both internal guidelines and government regulations. Additionally, the Drafter will provide mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them through drawing processes and ensuring that all documentation meets established engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the quality and accuracy of legacy CAD drawings and files for electronic warfare production.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure all products adhere to internal and governmental standards.
- Mentor junior engineers in the drawing development process.
- Ensure that all documentation is consistent with engineering best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of CAD experience in a professional setting.
- Proficient in using NX and Teamcenter software.
- Capacity to obtain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Associate degree in a related discipline is required; a bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred.
