Job description
The Driver’s Helper contributes to the operation of the collection truck by helping with navigation and safely gathering curbside waste and recyclables. This role includes operating packer controls, clearing away debris, and conducting vehicle inspections before and after trips. Applicants should possess a valid driver’s license and be physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds, as the work entails being outdoors under different weather conditions. A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred for candidates interested in this position.
