Externs will collaborate closely with supervising veterinarians to acquire practical experience in managing clinical practices, involving tasks such as patient examinations, diagnostics, and assisting in surgeries. Additionally, they will cultivate vital professional competencies, including effective communication with clients, time management, and the maintenance of medical records. This externship is available to veterinary students at all academic levels. Candidates should be eager to obtain authentic clinical experience across diverse veterinary practice settings.
