Job Summary
The EDI Analyst plays a critical role in the integration and management of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. This position focuses on overseeing EDI processes, ensuring data accuracy, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of electronic communication between the organization and its trading partners. The analyst is instrumental in troubleshooting issues, facilitating EDI implementation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate EDI projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to specifications.
- Analyze and maintain EDI transactions, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot EDI-related issues and work with IT to resolve any technical challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve EDI processes and workflows.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to EDI processes, standards, and protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in EDI transactions and standards, such as X12 and EDIFACT.
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication abilities to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant EDI software and tools.
- Knowledge of data integration practices and technologies.
