Job description
The Safety Specialist will enhance the safety program’s effectiveness by utilizing data-informed strategies, conducting audits, and performing risk assessments, all while promoting a culture of proactive safety. This role also involves acting as a reliable resource for team members, guiding the implementation of safety best practices into everyday activities. Applicants should possess a minimum of a high school diploma and one year of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or possess equivalent educational background. A solid understanding of OSHA standards and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential, in addition to the capability to carry out physical tasks within a warehouse setting.
