Job Summary
This role involves conducting noninvasive cardiac diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, stress assessments, and Holter monitoring. The technician will play a critical role in ensuring that patients are adequately prepared for these tests while also maintaining precise documentation in the hospital’s information system.
Responsibilities
- Conduct noninvasive cardiac tests including EKGs, stress tests, and Holter monitoring.
- Prepare patients thoroughly for diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation in the hospital information system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- One year of experience as an EKG technician is advantageous.
- Certification as a Certified EKG Technician (CET) is preferred.
